Subject:EXTERNAL - Clarification on the Final 2 District Maps
Date:Thursday, May 8, 2025 2:59:56 PM
Hello Council Members of Gilroy,
I am asking that you clarify the final 2 District Maps D and F by adding a statement next to
each Map on the City Website or on the Map itself to include the individual District Street
Name of the Boundaries.
The Maps do not clearly indicate the Street names and therefore it is difficult to understand.
How can you expect the Public to make a determination on which of the 2 Maps we prefer if
we cannot identify the Street Boundaries.
For example in my District 2 of Map D, what are the street boundary names?
I can guess Day Road East to Hirasaki Street then down Santa Teresa to Hwy 152?
The lines are not clearly defined on the other side of District 2.
All the Boundaries should be documented properly, I honestly don't see how these Maps can
hold up in Court without clear definitions. (similar to House Deeds recorded at the County)
Please add a documented statement of the Boundaries for all the Districts in both Maps.
The way it is presented appears that the City is purposely hiding something from the
community. I don't think that is your intention but perception is everything.
Thank You,
Cat Tucker
