Distinguished City Council Members,
I know the City Council has been hard at work on the districting issue. I applaud all your
hardwork and the effort the city has made in getting feedback from residents. While I will try
to attend Monday's City Council meeting, I wanted to email you to support Election Map D.
Although I do not live in this area, I feel that it best represents the residents in that area. I feel
that Map F would divide the community instead of uniting it. In addition, I feel that by
keeping the east side whole, you will get a better pool of candidates from that area to best
represent that district. I have friends and coworkers who live in that area and of those I know,
the consensus is Map D, too. I know that the Council will take this issue very seriously and
have already given it much discussion and thought. I wish you the best of luck in your effort to
continue making Gilroy a strong and vibrant community! Keep up the great work.
