Honorable Mayor Bozzo and Council members,
My name is Kathy Napoli and I worked in the fields of Gilroy when I was a young girl until I
was 15 (when there were many more fields), my husband and I have owned property here in
Gilroy for many years.
We are writing to you in support of district election Map D.
We strongly support this map because our property is located on the east side of Gilroy and we
want to make sure each neighborhood, and community of interest, (working parents, retirees,
etc.) is preserved, and Map D does this.
We want our neighborhoods to remain intact as we have common interests. We believe that
the East Side, historically made up of a diverse working class and Latino neighborhoods,
should remain intact and their vote should not be watered down by dividing it up.
Please vote in support of Map D.
