Honorable Mayor Bozzo and Council members,
My name is Carla Torres and I have been a community advocate in Gilroy/South County for
more than 20 years and worked in Gilroy during this time.
I am writing to you in support of district election Map D.
We are a community of interest and many of us live and shop on this side of town.
We want our neighborhood to remain intact as we have common interests. I also believe that
the East Side which is historically a working class and Latino neighborhood, should remain
intact and their vote should not be watered down by dividing it up.
Please vote in support of Map D.
