HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 2025-15 - Confidential Salary Resolution RESOLUTION NO. 2025-15 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY UPDATING THE FORMATTING OF THE JULY 1, 2023, AND JULY 1, 2024, SALARY AND BENEFIT SCHEDULES FOR FULL-TIME/ UNREPRESENTED/CONFIDENTIAL/EXEMPT/MID-MANAGEMENT EMPLOYEES AND FULL-TIME/UNREPRESENTED/EXEMPT/AT- WILL/DEPARTMENT HEAD EMPLOYEES WHEREAS, the City Council does establish salaries for city officers and employees by resolution; and WHEREAS, the format of the July 1, 2023, and July 1, 2024, salary schedules for Full- Time/Unrepresented/Confidential/Exempt/Mid-Management employees and Full- Time/Unrepresented/Exempt/At-Will/Department Head employees required updating to meet CalPERS reporting requirements. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY, AS FOLLOWS: 1. The salaries effective July 1, 2023, for Full-Time/Unrepresented/Confidential/Exempt/ Mid-Management employees as set forth in the attached salary schedule are hereby approved and established adding a five percent (5%) salary increase and adding a three percent (3%) increase to the top of the range. To receive the top 3% of the range the employee must have completed five (5) years of full-time City of Gilroy service, one year at more than 95% of the range maximum, and a meets expectations or better performance evaluation. This updated salary schedule is effective retroactive to July 1, 2023. 2. The salaries effective July 1, 2024, for Full-Time/Unrepresented/Confidential/Exempt/ Mid-Management employees as set forth in the attached salary schedule are hereby approved and established adding a five percent (5%) salary increase. This updated salary schedule is effective retroactive to July 1, 2024. 3. The salaries effective July 1, 2023, for Full-Time/Unrepresented/Exempt/At-Will/ Department Head employees as set forth in the attached salary schedule are hereby approved and established adding a five percent (5%) salary increase and adding a three percent (3%) increase to the top of the range. The salaries effective July 1, 2024, for Full-Time/Unrepresented//Exempt/At-Will/ Department Head employees as set forth in the attached salary schedule are hereby approved and established adding a five percent (5%) salary increase. This updated salary schedule is effective retroactive to July 1, 2024. 5. All other salary and benefit terms included in Resolution 2022-62 (copy attached) remain in full force and effect.
